Terms & Conditions
(The Important Stuff, Made Simple)

You know when companies make you scroll through pages of legal jargon just to find out the basics (or worse still, to hide stuff from you)? Yeah, we don't do that.

These Ts & Cs are intentionally kept short and to the point. We think they are fair and make sense, but if you have any questions or want to chat about anything in here, just drop us a line.

Our top priority is making sure you have a great experience with us, and that includes being clear about how we do things.

1. You're Buying As A Business

By placing an order with us, you're confirming you're doing so in the course of a trade, business, or profession - not as a private individual buying for personal use.

Our pricing, terms, and processes are built around trade customers, and this is reflected in the contract between us.

Not Buying As A Business?

If that doesn't apply to you, please get in touch before placing an order so we can make sure everything's set up correctly for you.

2. Every piece is One of a Kind

All our furniture is made to measure just for you. That means:

  • Once we start making it, it's yours and yours only
  • We can't accept returns or refunds for change of mind or incorrect measurements

So yes - measure twice, order once.

Don't Panic!

That last bit might sound scary, don't worry, every good design has tolerance and our tool does all the calculations for you. Speak to us and we'll make sure you have all the knowledge to make sure your design makes sense for you.

3. We Help Design… But You're the Boss
Tell Us What You Want

We're here to help, to guide, to mentor even...

We will gladly help you to bring your vision to life, but at the end of the day, it's your design and you call the shots.

So, we design together, but you have the final say on everything.

  • You are responsible for checking everything - sizes, colours, specs, all of it
  • Before we manufacture anything, we'll send you a final specification

You'll need to:

  • Review it carefully
  • Confirm it's 100% correct

Once you give us the green light, we take that as "this is perfect, go ahead."

4. Sign-Off = No Takebacks

When you book your delivery slot, you'll also approve your final design.

This is where you tell us "Yep, this is exactly what I want, go ahead and make it."

We go straight into production, and your furniture is officially in motion.

After that:

  • No changes
  • No tweaks
  • No cancellations
Why So Strict?

Remember, we make everything to order, so once it's in production, it's yours and we can't sell it to anyone else.

So please make sure you ask us any questions you have before you sign off. We want to ensure your job goes off without a hitch and that your customer loves their furniture, and we're here to help make sure you do.

If you're not sure, just ask! Don't give us the green-light until you're ready.

5. Payment & Finance
Paying Online

Generally we accept orders directly through our website. You can review your order and make payment securely online.

Full payment is required upfront

Simple as that.

This is because we make everything to order, as soon as you place your order we start sourcing the stuff with the longest lead times and as soon as you book in for delivery we start making it.

Upfront payment helps us to keep things simple, and to keep our prices and lead times as low as possible.

Deposit Option (If We Offer It)

On rare occassions (on larger orders), we may offer a deposit option.

If we do:

  • A deposit secures your order
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before delivery

If the balance isn't paid on time:

  • You may lose your delivery slot
  • And delays could follow (no one wants that)
6. Cancellations (The Fair Bit)
We Get It - Plans Change

Unfortunately, because we make everything to order, cancellations can be tricky, so we want to be upfront about how we handle them.

If you cancel before we start manufacturing:

We reserve the right to keep some portion of the order value to cover any materials already purchased (except hinges and stuff... we can re-use those)

This will never be more than 25% of the order value, and often much less. We promise to be fair and transparent about this, and to only charge what we need to cover our costs.

If we've already started making your furniture:

  • The order can't be cancelled
  • No refunds will be issued

As soon as we start actually making it, we really can't sell it to anyone else, so we have to stick to this policy to keep things fair for everyone.

If you have any questions or concerns, it is always best to reach out to us as soon as possible.

7. Delivery (We Aim High, But We're Human)

We'll always aim to hit your delivery date, but:

All delivery dates are best-efforts, not guarantees

Occasionally, things go wrong (traffic, supply issues, general chaos, acts of god)

Our Advice (Trust Us on This)

Whether you're fitting it yourself or scheduling the job with your customer, don't commit to a date until your furniture has arrived and you've checked everything.

We're not responsible for:

  • Missed fitting appointments
  • Rescheduling costs
  • Any knock-on delays

Play it safe - future you will thank you.

8. On Delivery Day
When Your Furniture Arrives
  • Check everything as soon as you can
  • Make sure it matches what you ordered

If something's not right, let us know promptly and we'll help sort it.

We manufacture and supply your furniture - cut, drilled, and ready to assemble. Assembly, fitting, and finishing are carried out by you (or your team), not by us. Nothing in these terms should be read as us agreeing to install, assemble, or fit anything.

If something delays us that we can't control (think supply chain issues, transport problems, or bigger "act of God" stuff):

We won't be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver on time

We'll always keep you informed if anything crops up.

9. Warranty (We've Got You Covered)
We Stand By Our Furniture

All materials and hardware come with a 6-year warranty

This covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faulty materials

This does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (life happens)
  • Water damage (keep things sealed and dry!)
  • Accidental damage

If something's genuinely not right, we'll do our best to put it right.

10. Liability (The Legal Bit)
What We're Responsible For

We're responsible for supplying your furniture - and doing it properly.

We take this responsibility seriously, and if we mess up, we'll fix it. We pride ourselves on the quality of the product we produce and we want you to have the best possible experience with us.

In plain English: We make your furniture, we fix our mistakes, but we're not on the hook for everything else.

Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

We're not liable for:

  • Indirect losses
  • Project delays
  • Third-party costs (like installers)

This includes, without limitation: loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, delay or disruption to your own projects or jobs, and any costs you incur with third parties (customers, subcontractors, or otherwise) as a result of a delay, defect, or issue with our products.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

These terms are written for business customers. If you're contracting with us as a consumer (i.e. not in the course of a trade, business, or profession), your separate statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything in these terms - but everything above is written on the basis that you're buying as a business.

Nothing here affects your legal rights.

Measuring Guide
The Core Idea

Whatever dimension you type into a field is the whole, finished size of that section - not a door size, not an internal size. We calculate the individual door sizes, internal widths, and everything else from that total automatically.

A dimension entered on a cupboard section is the whole finished size - door widths are calculated from it automatically
Wall-To-Wall (Fitted) Units

If a unit runs wall to wall, it will normally have trim panels (infill panels) down each side, this is your tolerance - 50mm by default, though you can set a different figure if you prefer.

  • The 50mm is what we expect the trim to end up being. Trims are supplied oversized and cut down to fit on site, so if your measuring is slightly off, the trim simply ends up a bit bigger or smaller.
  • Measure wall to wall, ignoring skirting boards - unless they're unusually large, or you're using a small tolerance.
A wall-to-wall unit with a 50mm trim panel each side, leaving 1440mm of doors
Freestanding Units

If a unit is freestanding, it has its own end panels (and feet). Enter the exact overall size you need - that's the whole bounding box: end panels, feet, everything included.

  • No tolerance is added automatically - you're telling us the size, so we build to that size.
  • If you're placing it into a tight space, it's on you to calculate the clearance and enter a slightly smaller size to allow for it.
A freestanding unit's overall size includes its end panels and feet, with no automatic tolerance
Floor To Ceiling (Or Not)

Going to the ceiling works the same as wall to wall, just vertically: set a tolerance (50mm default, recommended) and measure the full floor-to-ceiling height. A top trim absorbs the difference. If you're not going to the ceiling, there's no top trim - enter the exact height you want the top of the unit to be.

Going to the ceiling uses a top trim to absorb the tolerance; not going to the ceiling uses the exact height entered
Skirting Boards & Obstacles

Generally, ignore skirting boards. It only matters if the skirting is deep enough to reach into the tolerance zone. If so:

  1. Use a bigger tolerance.
  2. Keep the default tolerance, but measure extra carefully - your true working tolerance is smaller.
  3. Remove a section of skirting.
  4. Design around it. If unsure, get in touch and we'll help.
If deep skirting reaches into the tolerance zone, use a bigger tolerance, measure more carefully, remove the skirting, or design around it

This guide is informational and not a legal waiver - measuring correctly, and understanding how the tool works, is your responsibility.

Fitted Vs Freestanding

Fitted

The major difference with fitted furniture is that we provide infill panels to fill the gap between the furniture and the wall. These panels come oversized in case your measurements are not precise or your walls are not perfectly straight. Which means you get a perfect fit, but it does require some cutting.

Freestanding

With freestanding, you get exactly the same made-to-measure furniture, but we finish it with end panels, no cutting required. You should measure skirting to skirting and then take off 2-10cm for tollerance. This leaves a small "shadow gap" at the sides and top, but it also means no cutting is required.

Functionally, the product is the same, but the installation is different.
